Images and videos of the devastating explosion in Beirut on 4 August has left everyone around the globe speechless and in shock. But where has it left the Lebanese people? Lebanon was already trying to curb the spread of the corona virus and overcome the economic crisis, and this tragic event has made things even more difficult. Inspired by the various initiatives to help Lebanon in this time of crisis, we invite you to join #BridgesOfSolidarity – a Digital Hackathon aiming to join forces between young Cypriot and Lebanese members of the technological, innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems of the two neighboring countries.
